Is it possible to evolve Eevee into a specific evolution of your choice? To answer that question, it’s Yes.

The easiest way to evolve Eevee is by feeding him with 25 candies but the evolution is random. But if you want to select a specific evolution for your Eevee then you should use the name trick for Eevee. In order to make the force evolution, all you have to do is to rename Eevee into specific names. Below are the names that should use:

• Rainer if you want to evolve your Eevee into Vaporeon
• Sparky if you want to evolve your Eevee into Jolteon
• Pyro if you want to evolve your Eevee into Flareon

For Espeon and Umbreon  [unconfirmed] the evolution ways. But since this generation 2 Pokemon are not based on elements and they are based on time (day and night) here are the possible way to force the evolution:

• Espeon – evolve your Eevee at day time runs from 4:00 AM – 5:59 PM with a name of Day
• Umbreon – evolve your night time runs from 6:00 PM – 3:59 AM with a name of Night

As of now, Espeon and Umbreon evolution trick will remain as a theory until gen 2 is released. We’ll have to wait for the release until next year.
